justfornow: ([HP] Ϟ {Tom Felton} b&w - smile for me)
I am thoroughly convinced that Tom ships himself with Dan. He's kind of making ME ship then together. XD

And a bonus gif. Apparently bad boys do NOT get all the girls. )

That is all. Have a good day. <3

And now it's time for Danny's reviews/observations of...

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban

When I first read this book , it wasn't my favorite. It just seemed kind of out-of-place to me. Unless I'm forgetting, it is the only book that doesn't have a confrontation with Voldemort at the end. And, at first, I wasn't such a fan of Sirius. But now, years later, after all the other books are out and I have the whole story, I have to say that I've changed my mind about it. Sirius ended up becoming one of my favorite characters (he's definitely up there in the top five) and this book has gone up the ladder of favorites. So here we go: Danny's walk-through in chronological order.

Go behind the cut for POA ramblings and such. )
Lastly, I'll leave you with this.
justfornow: ([Stock] {Panda} Tree-straddle)
Time for a random post of happiness, for spreading joy just for the hell of it. Here: let me lure you in with the cutest baby panda on the face of the planet.

Random post is random. Herein lies happiness.  )

LOL I think all this means that happiness = fluffiness, gay boys, Harry Potter, and pandas. It all makes sense now.
Have a good day, all. :)

To read:
1. Harry Potter
2. The Chronicles of Narnia
3. The Lord of the Rings

I'm living in a rather fandom-y place right now, so here's a bit of flailing.

One of my New Year's resolutions was to reread all the Harry Potter books. So I bought the few I was missing (which, ugh, now I have some paperback and some hardcover, this is upsetting) and began. As a kind of personal project of mine, every time I finish one of the books, I'm going to recap my favorite parts. Keep in mind, I pretty much love everything, so these are my favorites of all.

Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone

Danny's observations on the book that started the great adventure,  )

Other HP fandom-y stuff:
I ran across this quote on tumblr today. I really love it (probably because I'm on a Draco/Tom kick, but whatevs).

If the question is whether Draco would have committed the murder, my answer is no. I don’t think he would. He had lowered his wand. He was prepared to come over to Dumbledore’s side. I hope you see that there’s some of that same feeling in Book Seven, when he does try to protect Harry. But he’s in too deep. Like a lot of characters, he’s not a hero. There’s a real moral cowardice to Draco. But is he wholly bad? Absolutely not. - J.K. Rowling

Danny's very short review of The Dawn Treader lies herein. Plus, there are very pretty picture. Very slight spoilers. )
-In completely random, real life news, I have three of eight college apps finished.
justfornow: ([Harry Potter] {Harry} animated-pincers)

While I was packing up my room last night (it's so lonely right now, there's nothing in it) I watched the Half-Blood Prince (and found and icon of one of my favorite Harry moments!) and was newly reminded of how much I love Tom Felton. While I've never been much of a fan of movie!Draco (he's too whiney), I loved book!Draco. And, well, Tom is wonderful. And pretty. So then while I was on tumblr later (I'm really trying not be be addicted), I saw that someone (I'm actually quite certain it was [livejournal.com profile] cayskank  ) posted this loveliness. I swear I'm not going to start shipping Tom/Dan. XD

So I then proceeded to internet stalk him and found out that he sings. Like, really sings. It's wonderful. I totally wasn't expecting it.

Lots more pretty, pretty Tom Felton behind the cut. Including singing! )
Ok. Back to work, methinks.
