-Let me explain my new addiction to you: House Hunters. My roommate got me hooked on it one day and there's been no going back. Thankfully for me, there are about a billion episodes and about half the shows on HGTV are House Hunters. It's really bad. But it kind of allows me to escape for a little while. I mean, most of those people on the show have more money than I will ever have (because I have this thing where I fall for the kind of guys who will never make money: musicians, artists, journalists, etc., and I am going to be a journalist myself and we all make basically nothing), so it's kind of depressing, but  a nice fantasy at the same time. 

-Finally, I need to flail about American Idol a little bit right now. I came into this season without high expectations. But I have been pleasantly surprised. Although my favorites were eliminated in the Top 24, I feel really, really attached to the people who are still around, especially, it seems, Casey and Stefano. Tonight, I swear i was going to die. I literally busted out into tears because of this: Link to YouTube because LJ hates me and won't properly embed.


Stefano and James. Although I'm not the biggest fan of James, these two are absolutely adorable together - they have the best bromance, seriously. There's another adorable gif of them here and also "wrestling" here.

But also. Not to totally fail at fangirling (because nothing will ever, ever top Kradam), but doesn't the above gif kind of remind you of this? I mean, there's even the same height difference. Haha. 


The tl;dr of the above section? Danny loves American Idol. <3

SInce I have nothing productive to say about life, I'm here with a few fic recs.

***[Kris/Adam] Like The Music That You Play by lizziebethlj. Kris shows up on Adam's tour, and decides to stay.
This is, without a doubt, one of the best Kris/Adam stories I have ever read. I flailed over it forever. It's has this amazing build up and an awesome ending and just the right amount of angst and love. Seriously, everyone need to read this. It's totally crazy because this is the first fic she's ever written and just... ugh. I refuse to let her crawl back into her hole. Fandom needs writers like her.

[Finn/Kurt] I'm 98.7% Sure That Fooling Around With Another Guy Means You're Gay by audaciously. A random hook up between Finn and Kurt ends up turning into a friends with benefit relationship. But then Kurt goes and joins the Cheerios, becomes sexy overnight, and Finn has to deal with the fact that he's no longer the only one who wants to have sex with Kurt. The entire school already thinks he's going through a sexuality crisis, so maybe it's not so bad that he's fooling around with another guy.
This author never, ever lets me down. And this is just pure win.

[Kris/Adam] This Evening's Empire by moirariordan. AU. Prince Kristopher gets a lot of proposals.
This. It's kind of crack, but it's amazing crack. Basically, Prince Kristopher refuses to wed or be courted because he got his heart broken by one Ryan Seacrest. However, Adam Lambert intrigues him. Somehow he ends up going back to Adam's lands for their annual festival and ends up falling in love in the process. It includes a drunken profession of love from atop a statue. Read it. That's all I have to say.

Hey, how do I make a sticky post?

 I have officially decided that I want to turn the movie A Lot Like Love into a Kradam fic. Idk. I just think that it would be really perfect. It's my favorite romance movie ever and it sort of plays out like I think their romance might, just AU and all that.  I'm just never inspired to write Kradam, so I'm not quite sure what to do with this.
