So I have a random, nitpicking question for everyone. In the Deathly Hallows: Part 1, after Ron destroys the locket, he says (and this is a screenshot taken directly from my copy of the script):

I think I might be forgetting something, but I thought for sure they knew that there were seven Horcruxes. Because when Tom Riddle goes to talk to Slughorn in Slughorn's memory, he specifically says seven pieces of his soul. And, unless I'm wrong, the locket was only the third Horcrux they destroyed, leaving Hufflepuff's Goblet, Ravenclaw's Diadem, Nagini, and Harry. So they really have "only four to go," right? Unless the movies are going to chop off one of the Horcruxes? Or I suppose it could just be a fluke. XD Or I'm just dumb and totally missed something, in which case, please feel free to ignore this.

Oh, I also just finished this one. Again, not perfect, but it is quite enjoyable:

Sacrifice: Harry feels that the only way to keep Snape from serving an undeserving stint in Azkaban is to go through a bonding ceremony with him, thus proving that if Harry Potter has enough faith in Severus Snape to marry him, the man can't be all that bad. How long will it take before the ruse turns real?

Oh lol, I hate the way I just ctrl+d ed everything before Delicious and now it's just all over the place and I can't remember anything. I've shown you Beech Hall before, I believe, and of course the garden one. But idk if I ever found my absolute absolute favorite one for you and idk if this is it or not! IT DOES NOT LOOK LIKE IT, BUT THEN I HAD READ IT IN 2007 SO WHAT DO I KNOW.

And okay it's not that one, but that one is very good.

Mine deals with Hawaii part of the time, and a lot of bonding discussions and everything is beautiful and perfect for a long time, and then Harry and Severus fight which, let's face it, is never good because they're both ridiculously powerful and completely stubborn, so it breaks and then it gets a little better, but there's lots of crying because Voldemort gets to them at times. But it's also really beautiful and involves a secret relationship between Poppy and Dumbledore (lol, obvs written prior to certain announcements). Oh jesus. IDK. I'M PROBABLY JUST THROWING ALL OF MY FAVORITES INTO A MELTING POT RN AND THAT'S WHY I CAN'T FIND IT. God damn, you fandom, and all the fics you've provided with no way to properly organize them.

Beech Hall? What is that one about? I have it on my "to read" list but it doesn't have a summary? Also, what garden one? I'm drawing a blank.

That "To Have" serious sounds really amazing. I'll have to get to that one soon after I close out the rest of my four Snarry tabs. (That's not that much but two of them are 100k words or more, so, ugh.)

If that is an actual fic and you actually find it, I will probably die of happiness just so you know.

Um Harry moves into this really lovely old mansion with a couple of friends and there's a shed or something, that won't open, and anyway, Severus gets hurt in the last battle, and Harry brings him to the house in order to help him get well. All the while Lucius is being kind of a twat. So they are trying to keep protected and just get along. and Harry is like ACHINGLY in love with Severus. There are love triangles. It's all so wonderful.

It is one of the absolute best Harry/Severus fics you will ever read. You will cry, and you will feel for characters you didn't imagine you would, and you will possibly plan to move to Ireland someday where you can fix up a little stone house with wooden floors, but lots of land so you can build a magnificent green house and put all kinds of exotic and non-exotic plants even though you've hardly gardened since you were five. But maybe not.

The Hawaii one definitely exists. I know this because I can't find it because the universe is gravely unkind.

My second favorite is less Harry/Severus, more Severus and an OC Uncle of a canon character, and the way Severus begins to heal and totally horrible relationships like Harry/Neville and Draco/Neville, but also really beautiful relationships that become your absolute OTP and you just wouldn't really think it but it works so perfectly you want to cry because it's the only fic in the world with that pairing like Fred/Remus and George/Sirius.

And like one of my other favorite fics I lost with the pairing Draco/Oliver on the side of Harry/Severus and Harry's son by Cho Chang and how they work as a family for a while, but the last chapter written with them together together is at a Quidditch game and they have a fight and then the actual last written chapter is at a wedding ceremony they were both invited to and they're about to take and make up AND THEN THE AUTHOR DID NOT FINISH but it was still so amazing.

UGH! So much good Snarry fic to read. And actually The Sensible Garden is open in one of my tabs. It was the next one I was going to dive into. :) Beech Hall SOunds amazing, too, though. Hmmm.... I'm never going to be productive again. XD

That last one sounds kind of perfect.
